Lets learn how to make baklava as the Pharaohs did
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to begin
Spread the walnuts across the baking sheet
Put them in the oven once it preheats
Let the walnuts bake for 15 minutes tops
When its done mix the walnuts with a half cup of melted butter and cinnamon in a pot
Grease your pan and add two sheets of phyllo dough
Brush the dough with melted butter as you go
Spread the walnut mix over the phyllo
Place another two sheets of dough with butter
Repeat the previous step till there is no more dough left over
Cut the Baklava in the pan before baking it
Make the shape how you would like to split it
Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes
While it’s baking combine sugar and water in a pot
Put the pot over medium hot
When it begins to boil take it off the heat
Add lemon juice to the syrupy treat
Once both the baklava and the syrup are cooled off completely
pour the syrup over the baklava coating it neatly
Now it’s time to eat the tasty treat!
